Our mission, our pledge to the people who buy our software, and the good-faith terms behind everything we ship.
SIM DAD builds local-first software for serious work: tools that run on your own machine, keep your data yours, and earn trust through what they actually do rather than what they claim. We make software for researchers, writers, clinicians, journalists, and anyone whose work is too important, or too private, to hand to someone else's cloud. We build carefully, in the open, and over time, and we measure ourselves by one thing: whether the people who rely on our tools can keep relying on them.
The tool you buy today is the floor, not the ceiling. We ship updates continuously, and we do our best to deliver every capability we describe.
Some features you read about are available now; some are in active development or on our near-term roadmap. We try to always say which is which, and we label what is planned rather than shipped. We keep a dated development record, so our word is backed by evidence, not just intentions.
If we describe something and then genuinely cannot deliver it, we will tell you plainly and make it right. Your data stays yours, on your machine. This is a small company building carefully, and we take your confidence seriously.
Product descriptions, roadmaps, and feature lists on SIM DAD LLC properties may include forward-looking statements: capabilities that are planned, in development, or intended. These reflect present good-faith intent and are not guarantees. Actual features, timelines, performance, and specifications can change as products evolve, as technical limits are discovered, or as the market shifts.
Where a capability is not yet available, we endeavor to label it as planned or in development. Your purchase entitles you to the software as delivered at the time of purchase, together with good-faith updates within the same major version. It does not constitute a contract for any specific future feature, version, or performance level beyond what the applicable End User License Agreement expressly states.
SIM DAD LLC commits to good-faith development: to making reasonable, documented efforts to deliver the capabilities we describe, and to maintaining a dated development record as evidence of that effort. Nothing on this page creates a warranty beyond those stated in the applicable EULA. For the binding terms of your purchase, see the product's License Agreement.
Each product keeps a public release log, organized by version, so you can see how it has grown.
